SanDiskrecently refreshed their popular Extreme Portable SSD which now sports a new model number, E61. It replaces its E60 predecessor that had a 550MB/s read and 500MB/s write speed. The new version now claims to double its performance. But don't confused yourself with yet another model, the SanDisk Extreme Pro SSD (E80). Accordingto the Insta360 website Memory Card - ONE X2 Support (insta360.com) they recommend the "Sandisk Extreme Pro V30 A2". However, upon inspection, the Pro version has 170Mb/s read and 90Mb/s write speeds whereas the non-Pro version has 190Mb/s read and 130Mb/s write speeds and is $20 cheaper. I am a complete novice when it comes to this SanDiskExtreme. SanDisk Extreme is much more powerful compared to Ultra. Higher sequential read/write speed makes it more suitable for recording 4K videos. However, there are some similarities between the two cards as well. Similar to SanDisk Ultra, SanDisk Extreme has identical characteristics.
